Dorset Mind: Mental Health Week Workshops. Monday 12th to Friday 16th May 2025
Dorset Mind is already leading the charge with a series of invaluable and free workshops taking place throughout the week at 25 Kingland Crescent, Poole. This dedicated space is open daily until 3:30 PM for anyone seeking information and a friendly face.
Here’s a sneak peek at the engaging sessions on offer in Poole:
- Monday, May 12th: Delve into understanding Anxiety, Depression, and Low Mood in a supportive workshop (10:30 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Tuesday, May 13th: The LGBTQIA+ Workshop (10:30 AM – 12:00 PM) offers a safe space to explore managing anxiety and low mood, fostering self-compassion and self-esteem, and building healthy relationships. Discover more about the MindOut Group and the Mindful Rainbow Peer Support group.
- Wednesday, May 14th: Gain practical advice in the Energy & Money Saving Advice Workshop (two sessions: 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM and 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM), presented in collaboration with Citizens Advice and the Dorset Energy Unit. Learn strategies to navigate the current climate and reduce stress.
- Thursday, May 15th: Discover how you can make a difference at the Volunteer Information Day (10:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Explore the diverse volunteering opportunities available with Dorset Mind and become a vital part of their community support network.
