Who are we & what do we do?

Bournemouth Foodbank’s vision is to see a fairer, hunger-free society where everyone has enough money to put food on their plate and a network of community support. We are looking to address the underlying causes of the crisis, to challenge injustice and to bring communities across BCP together through compassionate and practical help. We are committed to empowering individuals and families by addressing the root causes of poverty and working collaboratively with local partners to build a more equitable society. Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to uplift our community and ensure that no one is left behind.

How to get help
Just a few steps to follow!

We collaborate with local agencies to ensure that we provide the best support tailored to the specific circumstances of each individual’s situation. If a family struggles to provide food for their household, the agency may provide them with a foodbank voucher.

Furthermore, our partnered agencies can offer ongoing support for families in need, addressing the underlying issues behind the crisis. These agencies include Citizens Advice, housing support officers, children’s centres, health visitors, social services, and selected local charities.

Locations

Here are the opening times and locations for our foodbank centres. Everyone who comes to the foodbank for emergency food needs to have a valid foodbank voucher.
