We are grounded community
We’re a charity based in Boscombe, Bournemouth. We work with others in our community to give everyone access to healthy, nutritious food. We grow and share fruit and veg; we teach others how to grow their own food; we redistribute food surplus from gardens and businesses; and we connect networks of people who store and share homegrown food. Read about our projects to learn more about our work and discover more about the techniques we use in our growing.
Our vision is…
a world where all urban communities have access to locally grown, nutritious food.
Our mission is…
to educate, share and grow, so we can reconnect members of our community with nature, with food and with each other.
We want to work together to build an abundant, circular food system and a culture of storing, reusing and redistributing food surplus. To do this, we focus on four areas: education, community, access to food and environment. You can find out more about these below.
